Bomb threat at Cactus Pete's appears to have been a diversion from theft
The bomb threat called into Cactus Pete’s on Wednesday appears to have been a diversion.
According to the Magic Valley Times News, Robert Troglia of Hailey, Michael Faulkner of Bliss and Penny Stalions of Kimberly were attempting to cash in $800 in coins that did not belong to them. This triggered casino to call the Elko County Sheriff’s office.
When deputies arrived, a bomb threat was called in at the same time Troglia was seen on his cell phone. He was charged with suspicion of making a bomb threat.
All three were booked into the Elko County Jail on various charges.
